We Need More Volunteer Drivers

We’ll be honest, our volunteer driver lineup is looking a little thin right now. Our current drivers have been amazing about stepping up, but there’s only so much ground a small crew can cover, and we’d love to change that before the busy winter months set in.

For a lot of the people we serve, a delivery is so much more than a box on the doorstep. It might be the groceries that get them through the week, or the friendly face that makes their day a little brighter. When we’re short on drivers, those deliveries get harder to schedule, and that’s the part we really want to fix.

You don’t need to clear your whole calendar to help. Some of our drivers pitch in once a week, and others take a delivery route once a month when their schedule allows. If you have a reliable car, a valid license, and a few hours to share, you’ve got what it takes. We’ll walk you through the rest.

If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, we’d love to hear from you! Reach out at and we’ll get you set up. And if driving isn’t your thing, sharing this post with a friend who might be interested helps more than you’d think.
